śrī-śaunaka uvāca
athemam arthaṁ pṛcchāmo
bhavantaṁ bahu-vittamam
samasta-tantra-rāddhānte
bhavān bhāgavata tattva-vit

tāntrikāḥ paricaryāyāṁ
kevalasya śriyaḥ pateḥ

vivṛta iva niruktas tat-parair ātma-labhyaḥ
